Social Media Internship | Summer or Fall 2025

This internship is ideal for students who are passionate about social media and eager to deepen their understanding of digital marketing strategies. You’ll work closely with our strategy and creative teams to create and manage engaging social media content across multiple platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and more. We’re looking for someone who has a working knowledge of these platforms and understands how to use the tools to engage audiences and drive brand visibility. Throughout the internship, you’ll gain hands-on experience, collaborate with industry professionals, and receive mentorship as you refine your social media skills. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to internal social media efforts and help elevate Red Window’s own brand presence.
Internships may be eligible for class credit. Summer internships include a stipend.

YOUR ROLE
What You’ll Do:
Assist with developing social media content that aligns with client goals and brand voice
Manage social media accounts, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments
Stay up-to-date on social media trends and help implement strategies to optimize client content
Support the creation of paid social media campaigns, including strategy and content development
Research and suggest new social media tools and features to improve client engagement
Help track and analyze social media performance, providing insights for optimization
Collaborate with the creative team to produce engaging visual content for posts, stories, and reels
Contribute to Red Window’s social media campaigns and content efforts
Participate in client meetings and brainstorming sessions, offering fresh ideas and creative input
What You Bring:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
Working knowledge of social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook (understanding platform tools, analytics, and best practices)
A solid understanding of how to engage audiences and build a brand presence on social media
Strong communication skills and the ability to write concise, engaging copy for social platforms
Creative mindset with an eye for design and content aesthetics
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects at once
A portfolio showcasing social media work—personal projects, internships, or academic work are all welcome
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent command of the English language
Excellent ability to listen well and perceive information from different perspectives
Ability to solve problems, and to work and learn independently
Strong work ethic and ability to focus
Careful attention to detail
Portfolio of work that demonstrates the requirements above (no group projects, unless each member’s individual contribution is clear)
